MY FAVORITE VICTORIA SECRETS SCENTS

R-L  Secret Crush  Coconut Butter  Coconut Passion

I used to be able to wear any perfume I wanted until allergies and sinuses invaded my life.  Now I am wearing light scents.  Nothing that hits you hard and only a few spritzes, kind of boring I know.  Here are a few of my favorites.

R-L  Heavenly Kiss  Dream Angels Heavenly  Pink Fresh and Clean

I love the Heavenly Kiss and Angels for night time.  It's the closest to a heavy scent I could get.  Smells sexy.  Pink fresh and Clean is great for a crisp daytime smell.

My favorite daytime/nighttime/anytime scent

Love Spell

NOVEMBER FAVORITES

My November favorites are few because I haven't bought much and I have been wearing the same look pretty much.

This E.L.F. palette is my favorite buy of the last couple months, $5 @Target. I use it everyday, love, love. The next 2 colors are from the Nordstom's LE palette & it's the dark brown & raspberry color, both for the crease. The last 2 are E.L.F. pots & they are very smooth & pigmented.

The 2 blushes I have been loving are mac Peachykeen & ELF bronzed. For the lips Rimmel Airy Fairy, Revlon Nude Attitude, & Mac Myth. I'm wearing a smokey eye with a sexy nude lip.
Surprisingly these are the only 2 brushes I have been using for my entire eye, mac 275 & E.L.F. crease brush. The Mac 275 fits perfect on the lid to the outer crease.
So, November flew by & it's holiday shopping time. I am going to post a tips & ideas for shopping next.

What has been your one Favorite this month?
(Disclaimer: I have bought all my own products. I was not paid by a company for my review or haul. This is my honest opinion.)

SEPTEMBER FAVORITES

September flew by. I blinked and it was gone. I'm excited about fall though. Boots, sweaters, jeans, & leggings!

I haven't bought a lot this month either. I think I'm more into the clothes right now.

EYES
I have been revisiting NYX lately. I have so many beautiful shades from them, but Beauty Queen is my fave. Also the ELF shadow brush & Mac 224 are the 2 I use everyday. I put on the Beauty Queen with the e/s & blend it w/224, liner & mascara, that's it.

HAIR
I have had highlights for the past 3 years & now I am all one color. (I'll post a pic) My hair is so dry. I use the BIOSILK from the middle of my hair down. It's the only thing that makes it look shiny. Sometimes I'll just use a little of the Frizz Ease only at the ends of my hair. When my hair was healthier I only used the Frizz Ease.
FACE
I pulled out an old ELF product. The blush in Flushed & I love it. I use it w/the 187 brush. I wanted something like Nars Angelica, but didn't want to invest the money. This is making me happy. Also the Laura Geller in Pink Grapefruit. Both of these have staying power, too. My new foundation Maybelline 24hr has been good too.

NAILS
Any color by LA Girls is great. They have a great brush & pigmentation. Just make sure you use a top coat. This is the one that matches my purse!! It's in Groovy.

I haven't been in love with any makeup lately. I'm also trying to use what I have.

Have you been going through your makeup stash? What have you rediscovered?

AUGUST FAVORITES

This month I focused less on the eyes & more on the lips. I mostly wore the bronzed or smokey eye with a winged liner.

Mac Lipstick Style Warriors collection in Sunsational. This color takes is a frosty lt. brown. It takes on the color of the lip liner. I used it with both brown & pink liner.

The 2 liners I always have are Honey dip(browns) by Jordana & Beige(really pink) by Nyx
Honey Nectar Mac luster glass. This is so beautiful, just worn on its own.
Creme D' Nude made its way back on the faves this month. I love the cremesheen, but they are so soft I kill them.
NYX jumbo Pencil in Dark brown for base & lid color. I just smooth it on.
I love this blush. Fad-Dabulous mineral blush. It has the hint of gold & just perks up the cheeks & face. It's great for the summer look.
That's it. I had no real major makeup hauls this month. These are things I have been digging out from the stash.

What are your faves? What is your latest product you dug out?

Painterly Paint Pot- Evens out the lid w/out putting on any color.
Angel lipstick- Looks good alone or w/gloss & w/ a smokey eyes
X-Rocks blush- perfect mauve/brown for my skin & blends great
Love Nectar Lusterglass- for the JLo pout & perfect for summer bronze

MAC BRUSHES I USE EVERYDAY

Mac brushes are really wonderful. They are a bit pricey, but I try to get them when I can. I always end up spending on the collections because they're are so many. This gives little $$$ for the brushes.

TOP-BOTTOM Mac 187se, 190se, 224se, 217, 252se

I use these everyday. I think a brush is versatile. Play around to see the effects each brush has.

This how I use my brushes:

187 brush: foundation application, bronzer & bright colored brushes go on light & not intense color in one spot.

190 brush: foundation & I use it for concealer under the eye. It pats the concealer on without wiping it away

117 & 224: all over eyes application, crease application, really blends the color out to make everything look smooth. Sometimes I use the 117 for concealer also. It's soft & gently blends the concealer

252: Highlight application all over eye color & eyeliner.

How do you use your brushes? What's your favorite brush & brand? What Mac brush is a good one to get next?

MY FAVORITE MAKEUP- MAY

I have a few haul posts I'm going to get up, but first I wanted to do my faves for May.

I've been doing the bronzy look a lot this month. It's almost summer, and it's so easy & fast.

MY FAVES:

Mac  - I have been using Hue alone or on top of Myth l/s.
         - Indianwood paint pot- All over the lid as a base/eyeshadow with black liquid liner &                     it looks smokey and shimmery.
         - Butternutty Shadestick-all over lid w/any color on the crease. It's pinky beige, so it goes
            with any color.
The Balm Shady Lady - I have to review this because it's sooo amazing, plus 3 of the colors are                                             liners.
Drugstore - Organic Wear Mascara
                   - Fabuliner Liquid Liner($2) at walgreens, its amazing!
                   - Jane Mineral Blush- All the colors are glowing without the glitter.
Bronzer - is from Marshalls. It was $5 and it looks like a tan, not orange. I also use this on my
body & legs. Don't forget to enhance the cleavage!!!
Mineral Powder - Sally's La Femme Couture. I'm going to get 1 shade darker for the summer
because I'm sure I'll get darker. You could use this alone or as a setting
powder. It's makes your skin glow w/out the glitter. Love it too!!

What are your faves, please share. I love hearing about new products & old ones!!
