Have you tried or swatched these?  How are they?  What about the Matte Lipsticks?

1 BOOT SO MANY WAYS- WET SEAL($40)

I know the weather has been so bad from west to the east coast.  I just bought these from Wet Seal for $40, & they're so comfy.  I love the shoes at all the trendy stores. but seriously, how do people walk in them they are as hard as a rock!!  These are perfect for everyday, with a low heal and enough room for jeans or leggings in the leg.
Best of all they can be worn over the knee, under the knee, or slouched down for a scrunchy boot.   They have a sexy peek-a-boo slit in the back too.   This way, next year no matter what the style is, this boot won't be out of style.
(I  got a 1/2 size bigger, in case I wanted to wear socks)

So what do you think of them? I would love to know where you bargain shop for shoes, online or stores?

PRODUCT RAVE: VISINE TOTAL EYE SOOTHING WIPES

This is a MUST for allergy, dry, burning eyes & eye lids.
I bought this at Walmart for $4.50. I have tried so many things for my eyes because of my horrible eye allergies. I didn't think they would really do the job, but I will try anything to help.

These pads are for around the eye, not in the eyes. The pads are not drenched, but moist, and very very moisturizing. They could be used as eye makeup remover, but I use it after I take the eye make up off. The pads clean and sooth the eye at the same time. They are so moisturizing, but not greasy. Even if I didn't have allergies, these are great.

You feel like your eyes are clear after using. Sometimes my lids & eyes get so dry, but this hasn't happened since using these. I always use eye primer, and the pads don't leave a greasy film. My lids are soft and moisturized, and the eye shadows stay on.

Give them a try whether you have allergies or not. It's a great product.

Do have suggestions on products or makeup for allergy, dry or sensitive eyes or face? I would love to know.

"THAT WAS THE BEST KISS"...the only Lip Gloss I'll ever wear...

Let me tell you the story. I was out for date night last night, & my hubby leaned over & gave me a kiss, then he said "Wow! that was the best kiss!" I thought it was nice, but the best, OK I guess. So an hour goes by & he asks what I have on my lips! He said your lips look & taste amazing.

This is the only gloss I'm going to wear when I'm with the hubbby. A $4 Bonnie Bell from Walmart, I reviewed it here. The only thing in many, many years of marriage that caught his attention. He actually thought about this gloss!

What is your secret weapon? Your favorite product that gets Attention when you wear it?

MY NEW HAIR COLOR

After getting my hair colored professionally for years, I just did it myself today.
I used this Revlon ColorSilk Hair color. I tried it on my mom, & her hair was so silky, smooth, & soft afterwards. Target has 2/$5. It's a great price for a great color. They have so many colors. Plus it covers grays & has no ammonia. Sounds good & looks great!
I just washed it & air blew it dry to see the color. Looks silky, doesn't it?
The color is darker than on the box, but I love it. The color has red undertones in the light.

I have to admit, I feel like I'm cheating on my stylist though.

What do you think of my new color? What's your fave hair color/brand?

WET N WILD GEL EYELINER REVIEW (bargain alert)

This is the blackest gel eyeliner ever! I love my eyeliner to be really dark, & this Wet n Wild eyeliner really is. It is $4-5. I t looks like there isn't a lot of product, but a little goes a long way. When I first tried it I really dipped it in, I ended up looking like I had a black eye. So, just a touch on your brush will do. The brush isn't too bad either.

Look how black the color is

This week at Walgreens all Wet n Wild products are buy 1 get one FREE! My fave word. So, it would be a great time to try this out if you wanted to.

Has anyone tried the new organic line? What are some products that you have liked from Wet n Wild?

NEW FAVORITE CHEAP LIPGLOSS

I LOVE this lip gloss. It's Bonnie Bell lip Lites in Cappuccino. Sccastaneda on YT mentioned it was her long time favorite, & when I saw it for $3.50, I was sold.

It's not sticky or gooey. It's very pigmented, but feels light. The smell is a bit strong, French Vanilla, but it fades.

There are 2 things I love most about this.
1. The color of this to me looks like liquid form of Mac Blankety. Smokey light pink.
(L) lip Lites cappuccino (R) Mac Blankety lipstick
2. This sinks into your lips & it's so moisturizing, which a lip gloss really isn't. The staying power is amazing. Your lips feel soft even when the gloss has faded.

Bonnie Bell reminds me of the years when I first started wearing makeup. The first lipstick I bought was, I think by Cover Girl in Ice Blue Pink.

What was your first makeup product you bought?

NYX LIP GLOSS

I picked up these 2 lip glosses at one of my neighborhood stores. It's a mom/pop kind of place, but they carry NYX. They're $3 & they actually had testers, how exciting.

L-R Smokey Look & French Kiss
I love a product that's cheap & pigmented.

L-R French Kiss & Smokey Look

These glosses are thick, so when you put them on they give you the pouty look. Smokey Look looks like a better version of Mac Love Nectar. I'm not a huge gloss girl, but I feel it's OK for me to get them for the price. Addiction ladies & gents is hard.

I've started Xmas shopping, so expect some hauls coming up.

What other NYX gloss do you recommend? Or any cheap lipstick or gloss?

E.L.F BEAUTY ENCYCLOPEDIA UPDATE+ GOOD CHEAP TARGET BRUSHES

This is a quick review & update on the E.L.F. beauty encyclopedia eyes at Target. It's the best $5 I have spent. I use this EVERYDAY, & use it at night the times I have gone out. I'm getting one for my mom, cousin, friend, & anyone I think would like one. The colors are rich, soft, pigmented,& blendable. Both my targets have been sold out of them, so I keep looking. I even use the little brush for my outer corner. The colors are a bit powdery, but not cheap looking. I wanted to post this for those of you who are thinking of getting this.

Also, while I was at Target i picked up some great brushes. The top one is the E.L.F. shadow brush & the next 2 are from the studio line that are $2, & the last one is from the E.L.F. palette.

The first 2 are the $2 ones. The larger one is great for packing on color & great at blending. I use the smaller one for the outer corners or under the lower lash line.
The one on the left is the E.L.F. shadow brush from target & the other is from my online order. The Target brush reminds me of the Mac 239. The bristles are shorter & rounder & perfect for the lid.
So, those are my great cheap finds at Target this week. E.L.F. is really doing some great things.
What are your great finds? Have you tried any of the Target products? What do you think of sponge applicators?

GREAT DEAL ON E.L.F. at TARGET!

I found this E.L.F palette at Target for $5! It's called The Beauty Encyclopedia. it comes with 2 cream shadows, 12 eye shadows, black pencil, & an eye shadow brush.

This is w/out a flash. It's a great neutral/smokey eye palette. Perfect to go from day to night. It's slim packaging perfect for the purse or travel. This would cost $16 if purchased separately.
The colors are super pigmented and creamy. This was just 1 swipe.

They had a bunch of other packages from the $1 line, but a lot of it was already sold out. I may have to check another Target to make sure I'm not missing anything.

what do you think of ELF products? I haven't tried the studio line yet. Is it good? Which products are good?

MAYBELLINE DREAM MOUSSE BLUSH & EYESHADOW

COST:$7 Blush
STORE: Drugstore, Walmart, Target

This is a product I put away a while ago, & just found again. I'm using them almost daily. I use them as a blush alone, or under the blush like a primer, or on top for more staying power. I Love #60 right now with my 187 brush as a bronzer all over my face.

I love that even though there is a glitter it isn't shiny or chunky. They look really pretty on the apple. The #60 has a gold glitter in it.

I found these for 50% off. #10 makes a good highlighter or base. The #20 is a good all over lid or base too. They're easy to use, just with your finger.

They are a great product for drugstore brand makeup. The only con is that they are in the jar & it can be hard to get to. If you don't close the lid, they'll dry out like a paint pot.
What's your favorite Mabelline product? Have you tried anything from this line?

MAKEUP WIPES CHEAP-HUGGIES PRODUCT/WEEK

COST:$2/40 OR $8/184
STORE: Anywhere baby products are sold

I thought of these wipes because it was the only thing that wouldn't irritate my daughters skin when she was little. I bought the small pack to try & now buy in bulk.

They have different formulations for skin types. I bought natural care, hypoallergenic. I need 1 wipe for my whole face. It's the cheapest makeup remover & doesn't break me out. I have oily skin & it gets the dirt off without leaving it greasy. It also removes waterproof makeup.
The only downfall is it will sting if you get it in your eyes, but I them closed anyways.

What's your favorite makeup remover? Your favorite cheap find?

MAKEUP BRUSH CLEANER

I know you may think I'm nuts, but this is my new brush cleaner from Big Lots $1-2.
I've tried all the cleaners & they're all good. I have bad allergies, so my skin is super sensitive. I started using Johnson Baby wash, & I wasn't irritated.  I went the next step, & bought the generic baby shampoo & it works. It also smells good & isn't harsh on the skin. Best of all it's cheap. I'm always cleaning my brushes & use so much brush cleaner, it was getting expensive.
Any other brush cleaner suggestions?

SALLY"S BEAUTY SUPPLY- HAUL/REVIEW

COST:$3.49(nail dry), $1.99(eraser pen)

Sally's beauty supply is great place to find those beauty products you would never think of. I found this spray nail dryer. Which is great for me because I have little patients to dry my nails. I'm always walking around with smudged nails. The other is an earaser pen that gets the polish off the sides of your nail.
The dryer is great. It smells like baby powder & it cuts down drying time by 1/2. I will repurchase for sure.  The pen you could skip on. Just use a Q-tip with polish remover it will work way better.
I want to try the dry shampoo next. What is good to try or buy @ sally's?

NEUTROGENA- ON THE SPOT

This is my go-to breakout fixer. I put it on at night & under my makeup when I get or feel a pimple coming on. I've tried a lot of other products, but this works the fastest & best.
I have oily skin so it doesn't dry me out, but be careful, this Will dry your skin out.  You don't put it all over, just on the pimple. Honestly, I love all the neutrogena products.

What's your favorite drugstore product?

DOLLAR STORE HAUL

I'm going to start putting up beauty bargain, find or sales. I think we could all have extra coins in the pocket.  I found these lashes at the $1 store, & a brow shaper. There's actually 3/$1.  I haven't tried them, but I will keep you posted.  I also ended up getting sponge wedges, nail polish remover, cotton balls, Q-tips, & plastic containers for makeup storage. They had a ton of the little things.

Has anyone tried these? What's your best $1 store find?
