Went for Italian with my family at Roman Cucina in Costa Mesa, Ca. They have a couple of locations in SoCal. The place has a great feeling with the big black booths & old family pics on the walls, but a metro feel. The drinks are strong & 1/2 off Martini Monday!!
I ordered Steak Milanese in a freshly baked baguette w/the house salad on top. This is what my sandwhich looked like-Huge & Yummy!!
The hubby had lasagna w/meat sauce, also delish & huge.
We love italian food, but it's so hard to find GOOD italian in orange county.What's you favorite italian dish? Any suggestions for good Italian in SoCal?

The food looks so yummy! I live far far away from Cali and unfortunately I haven't had any "great" italian food so far. Italian just tastes a little weird to me? Maybe one or two restaurants I find oh-kay.. but most of the time, I'm not top satisfied. I guess Italian is kinda rare where I live. =)

My husband and I are both Italian, so when we eat out it's always sushi. Most Italian places gross me out, even the fancy shmancy ones..it's never right..thank you mamma for teaching me traditional Italian cooking. Even my 6 year old son has mastered the art of working the pizza dough!

I love Ravioli most :) lol practically anything with pasta and meat sauce I like. I wish I could visit So Cal to soak up some sun!
