This week has been full of celebrity news & gossip.

1. I just read that Jon(kate + 8) called police on Kate because she wanted to get into their home & he wouldn't let her. When 1 parent is there the other is not allowed. Kate was pissed & showed up because the "nanny" Jon hired & is hooking up with was on duty, & Kate flipped.

Dear Jon,

I can not wait until your kids are old enough to google you & find out what a 2 timing loser, who called the police on their mom & is dating 3 girls at the same time you have become. Kate may be a nut, but show some discretion. You've gone too far!

2. Kortney Kardashian is preggers with her 2timing boyfriend. Wow! I thought she was the level headed one. How long before he's lying & cheating & heading out the door?

3.John Edwards to announce he is the baby daddy to the mistress's baby. Good job John, & how is your wife, you know the one who has terminal cancer?

4. Jessica Simpson is sauced up every night over her break up, or did she break up because she was sauced up all the time?

5. Kim Kardashian is a beautiful blonde now. That's right Kim, there's nothing that gets to a man after a break up than looking like a bombshell!

6. Heid's Playboy shoot photos released. I am so tired of these 2 Heidi & Spencer! I see her with less clothes in Us magazine. Boring!!!!

I don't even think that was a full week of news, maybe a couple of days! What have you heard? What do you think of Jon now?I thought he was dealing with a psycho, but he's right up their!

SOMETHING DIFFERENT- WHAT'S BEAUTIFUL ABOUT YOU?

We talk about beauty & makeup a lot. I love it here in the bloggy world.

What I want to talk about today is what is beautiful about you/me, not the makeup stuff. I think we all feel not so beautiful sometime or a lot. I try to think about the stuff I have inside to keep me strong when I feel this way.

When I'm down in the dumps I think about the strength I give to my friends & family when they don't have it themselves. Making someone smile when they're crying inside & out makes me smile & instantly feel happy about me. Even with the hair in a bun, pimples on the face, & PJ's on I am Beautiful.

Am I nuts?

What makes you feel beautiful? I would love to be inspired by you when I can't inspire myself!! Or maybe our ideas/stories can make someone smile today.

MINI-UPDATE!

I feel like I haven't been around forever. I have been away for the last 21/2 weeks. I did a lot of post before I left that have been going up. Well I am back now!

Thanks for all the great comments & suggestions. You're all so sweet. I have so much catching up to do. My camera is full of photos & as soon as I get them off I'll be back with some reviews & news.

This did say Happy Birthday underneath, before the girls covered it up. This was my daughters cake that she & her friends decorated.

My older daughter hates cake. I buy donuts & pile them high for her cake.

My hubby either doesn't want a cake or he likes flan.

I love Entemann's chocolate fudge a la mode.

I was looking for a Birthday cake today & realized what a personal choice it really is. It's your day to do what you want, a day your celebrated, where you can eat whatever you want. A no diet day! It's an important choice!!

This post is about random thoughts from the last couple of weeks.

Blogging: I've been thinking about the kinds of post I want to put up, but sometimes I just feel blah! Do you ever feel just feel bored with your stuff? What do you want to see more of?

Shopping: I was at Sephora last week & I feel like I'm looking at the same stuff all the time. I got a MUFE foundation sample to try. I saw online they had a mini Dior Show & Gloss pack for $28. I'd like to try both, but nits online only. Any suggestions for Sephora? I have a gift card from there. I'm heading to Nordi's on Friday for the Graphic Gardens. I heard the lippies are sold out online. I love the packaging.

Going Out: I went to L.A. on Saturday. Started at El Carmen, which is known for their tequila & margarita's. Then headed to Chateau Marmont for dinner. If you're ever in L.A., you have to go here for at least a drink. It has a very well known history of celebrities, rock & roll, & famous residents. The Bar is part of the Chateau. If you stay for dinner, they have a great burger!

Celebrity Gossip: I saw Josh Groban at valet on Saturday. He's the young guy who sings classical. He was pretty cute with messed up hair & plain clothes.

The Michael Jackson memorial was well organized & fitting. His little girl just broke my heart. I think it was the only time ever I thought of him as an ordinary person & father.

John + Kate: He's out of control. Just wait until the kids google him now & see pics w/his new GAL. If she did have someone, it's not documented w/pics. The girl is Kate's plastic surgeon's daughter. Wow that was a high price to pay for free surgery.

IMATS 2009 + Rant+ Random

Hello everyone. My life has been kookoo crazy!!

I did go to IMATS after all. I thought I wouldn't make it, but I went on Sunday. I did haul, so I will post that. I didn't go crazy. They had a lot of loose e/s, & I'm too messy for that. I bought a lot of brushes. It was pretty crowded, but not bad. I did see a few gurus walking around. They had demos going on everywhere. The special effects makeup was amazing! I couldn't get into MUFE because it was soooooo crowded. I wanted a foundation, but so did everyone else & the testers were everywhere. I couldn't test the colors. Mac was crazy too. They were more organized though. I didn't get anything there. I'm going on a trip so I'm holding back on spending!!!

Next, this is for the John/Kate followers. Did you see the show last night. I think they both are both selfish. It's sad they're divorcing, but things happen. They suck because she hasn't been there(she's been on tour for 2 yrs) & he's looking for an apt. in NY. You're running from your kids, they're not in NY. The house is where they'll stay when its their turn with the kids. WHAT??? She filed for divorce yesterday. I didn't believe her tears. I would be curled up in a ball, not giving my $75K interview. I hope his new girl & her body guard/boyfriend are happy. What happened to them going to church & her family money making speaking engagements at churches??

Finally, I have decided to use the clothes that I have & recycle them. Change them, cut them, I'm not sure yet? I'm working on it, but I do have a sewing machine!!!!!

PALM SPRINGS-RAMBLING-CELEBRITY SITING

Hello everyone, I hope you had a great weekend. Mine was Great. We were in Palm Springs w/my hubbby & girls.   It was very hot & i burned, but it was worth it.  We were bumped up to a villa because of a reservation mistake on there end. They can make a mistake anytime they want.  This is our villa & some pics of the views.

The funny thing is that Tori Spelling was our neighbor during our stay. They were filming her show.  Her crew was camped out in the yard filming her. She was there with the kids & hubby & about 20 friends & a couple nanny's. She is soooooooo skinny. Maybe 95lbs.  It was very crowded at the resort & she sat right in the middle of the crowd everyday, with hotel security.

I also stopped at the CCO & I will post what I got later on.

Who watched John/Kate last night? Can you say splitsville. You cut the hatred with a knife!!!

NEWS, UPDATES & A RANT

First let me start with a little rant:

This week I have been hearing a lot about John/Kate. Do any of you watch that show John/Kate +8?  If so you know they are a reality tv family who are coping w/dealing w/twins & sextuplets. Well, what kind of role model family have they been selling?  He's been caught w/his 23 yr. old girlfriend, & she's with the bodyguard. What? They told on each other, & they're families also told on them. So, how has this family been going to do paid speaking engagements to all the churches? I actually saw that she was coming to our local church & they were selling tickets!

Next Elizabeth Edwards new book. I feel for her so much. Not only is she dealing w/terminal cancer, but her wonderful husband has been sneaking into hotels meeting his lover! But what i don't understand is people bashing her for writing her story? Why shouldn't she? She could be gone tomorrow, & maybe this her way of finding peace with it. Don't read her book then!

Update & News:I'm going to start posting my favorite product of the week & products I used a lot each month. I love when I see these posts. It makes me go back & use things I forgot about. It could be random stuff, not just makeup. I have learned so much from all of you, & really saved a lot because of  your reviews. Thanks!!

I'm really excited because my brother & his family are coming out this week. So if I'm not around so much, you'll know why. Look what I did today.  I stocked up, well maybe just for a couple days.  We all eat a lot, plus his kids are 3 &6 so they're snackers. 

I'm planning on doing a BBQ on the day they come in, yummy. My brother, his wife, & I all cook. It will be nice for someone to cook for me. I'm usually always the cook!
